Human Actions #7

As I go through the process of Twenty Tweets and organizing my experiences around that, what has emerged from it is a phrase which seems meaningful to me.  That phrase is "POETIC FREQUENCY". It is not particularly important from where our thoughts emerge, only that they fit the path of our own individual journey.  This IMHO lies at the essence of self-discovery 101.

It is surprising how much of life is poetic even when it feels mechanical, dry and more akin to social gunpowder than the speeding bullets of our own thoughts.  Twitter is poetic, the rhythm of 140 characters makes it so, even spam in one's email box is poetic, if we choose to read it that way.  Of course the more exposure I have to lowest common demoninator, the lower I get...

Frequency is more than an analogy with a radio signal, and more than just a wave pattern.  By questioning myself, by thinking out aloud in an abstract form - what makes that frequency a valued flow in my life is recognizing that the frequency I am addressing here is our own intelligence, both given and developing.  It is only ourselves that create that intelligence modulation, so frequency metaphors aligned with quantum mechanics or whatever are pointless if we lose what all of this has to do with our own state of intelligence.

So I come to what maybe defining my human actions, because as an emerging individual (and individuality does not exist, it is always an emerging state towards wholeness) that I ponder on what it means for me to possess poetic frequency.  There is no answer to that possession because poetic frequency is not something we store, or hold or keep or share or buy or sell or retain or whatever falls in the realm of possessiveness.

Poetic frequency combines the intelligence of the art which stems from our daily actions and the science of how those actions transform as actual living beings.  It is not something you can stand in front of a wide eyed and wondering group to explain, it can only be found through one's own life experiences.  You cannot take poetic frequency, you cannot give poetic frequency, it simply is.  Or at least all my ramblings across Twenty Tweets, SPMD and Nomadic Observer are showing me.

So poetic frequency becomes one more addition in this personal journey of emergence.  It's importance as a way becomes clearer with how attuned I really am with my own purpose and life - and it does have a place of human residence and here I find the greatest irony of all, that all those who can identify with it do so because it sits in a location called their own heart, as I conceive it one cannot borrow poetic frequency by trying to imitate another's heart, it is either born within or it will cease to exist. 

So there is no value in trying to "get it", and there have been fools who tried.  I can recall John Lennon was murdered by such a fool, I can recall Lenny Bruce was driven to an early death because of many fools, I can recall a littany of examples through out the course of human tragedy, mistaken beliefs, cult formulations and idolatry worship rituals - to sit in front of poetic frequency as religous quest is perhaps the most superstitous thing since sun-worship.

For sure how we think affects our actions, but poetic frequency is not an action, it is a personal intelligence, found through one's own responsible discovery.  This much I have feel for but I am still as ignorant as the next person, there is no magic elixir, the only thing I know for sure is that the word intelligence isn't as it is sold, it is only as it is personally discovered.  The moment we try to "get it" it has already well gone...
