I will certainly will remember this day as a turning point event, where the turning points is about adaptation and surprise changes. I happened to swerve around the Twitter outage this morning having began looking at tweets at before the denial of service attack struck Twitter.
What really changed things however was noticing a whole bunch of new smart tags on my Freedom Oasis posts. With no option to turn them off and previous posts now flashing IMHO with all their underscoring left me with a decision how to continue my own process and avoid these eyesore tags.
If I needed reminder that change can be a beautiful thing then this was also the day the confirmation hearing was approved and now the swearing in of the first Hispanic member of the US Supreme Court can begin. So with all this mind, there is just one big lesson and it is the same lesson I began my online journey with - constant adaptation and adjusting to the flow. And so new adjustments have been to Freedom Oasis but these now need to work their way through in the next few days.
The great thing about change is no one notices it when it becomes normal, and the new normality is living in a global world that is a process of constant change. Of course change occurs without mankind's interventions but human driven change is the change that is being referenced here.
So in a way, as a lot was happening in the wider world today, a lot was happening in terms of how I adapt and how I configure the way forward from here until of course a new transformation point arises that will require an adaptive spirit. To be open to an adaptive spirit requires a new type of vigilance, one that is anchored in the comprehension of uncertain environments - and we sure do live in those kind of environments today.
