This past weekend Delphian School students volunteered for the fourth consecutive year helping at the eighth annual Habitat for Humanity Run/Walk/Ride in McMinnville.

Four Delphian students sang the National Anthem before the race began, and eight other students directed runners or helped with food and water at the event. One of our students videoed the race for Habitat for Humanity's use in promoting the event next year.

There were 337 participants in Saturday's race, and $20,000 was raised. Funds raised from the eight Habitat for Humanity Run/Walk/Ride events have been used to build two Habitat houses in McMinnville.
