Medicare Supplements to Change in 2010

By June 1, 2010, there will be new changes to Medicare supplements
that will likely create a great deal of confusion for consumers.
There will be several changes to Medicare supplements, one of them
being the existing Medicare supplement plans A through G will be
dumped. These will be referred to as the "old" Medicare supplements.
Here is the confusing thing: there will be the "new" Medicare
supplement plans A through G, and – well – they are exactly the same
supplements as the "old" ones. There is bound to be some mass confusion
over the so-called changes that are not really changes at all, but
rather the implementation of two closed risk pools.
