It’s been a tough first year for the bringer of hope and change. Though only in office for seven months, Obama’s been shouldering the hopes of a nation from the moment he entered the presidential race. But after passing a controversial stimulus package, the economy is still a shambles; unemployment is up, markets are cautious, and the deficit is not looking any better than before. Worse, his critics have been relentless, accusing him of race baiting, generational theft, socialism and even throwing like a girl. But you have to cut the guy some slack. He has brought hope to people the world over, even if they’re still waiting on the change. And besides, though his pitching motion may be a bit rusty, the man can drain a three pointer with the best of ‘em.

"Bringer of Light?" You do realize that's another name for Lucifer, don't you? Not that I'm a fan of "The One," but that's even worse than the comparisons to Hitler!"

Hmm. You are correct, though I was referring to Prometheus, bringing fire to the people in defiance of the Gods. But to avoid the confusion, I've made an edit. Thanks for the heads-up.

"Throwing like a girl"? I'm so tired of this. Nothing worse than being a girl, eh?

It took the Lord seven days to create the earth and all that within. If we compare his seven day to our year. One day = one year that would be about seven years. The President has only been in office seven months. How can he be expected to clean up all the mess that was there when he took office. About Health care-I;m not sure who tthe pole takers are talking with, when that go out gether facts, it sure is not the common people, the poor and underinsuried, thos with no insuranc. If healt care in this country is so grate , then why are there so many people in emergency rooms seeking healt care. On any given day you will find them filled with clients. The firsst question as at intake is do you have insurance, in most cases even before you are ask your name. When these town hall meeting are held the individuals working at Berger King, McDonald and otherfast food chains are at work, therefore they are unable to attend the "Town Hall Sessions.
