A little while ago, a blog entry was written, expressing the desire…no…the NEED for a Bacon Cupcake in Portland…or Oregon for that matter. There will be those that wince, but if Twitter is any indication, there is a massive population of bacon lovers out there. Anything bacon related. We discovered that there are many blends with bacon you wouldn’t have ever dreamed possible.

Bacon Baklava…Bacon ice cream…Bacon candy. Yes, bacon really can be used in a delicious sweet treat mix, believe it or not.

The Challenge: Our cupcake Diva of Cupcake Jones, Lisa Watson, challenged us on the Bacon Cupcake. If we rallied enough people who’d buy the bacon cupcake, then she’d go for it and bring the Bacon cupcake to life for us.

We said yes, and now it’s up to id Magazine and you to spread the Bacon Gospel, far and wide…so that soon…we will actually have a Bacon Cupcake! Our goal is to hit 300…Can we do that?
