GERBER GROUP BARS “GO GREEN” WITH SPECIALTY AÇAI COCKTAIL TO BENEFIT GLOBAL GREEN USA

Atlanta, Georgia (March 17, 2009) – Help save the environment, one cocktail at a time! Gerber Group bars in Atlanta (Whiskey Park, Whiskey Blue, and Living Room lounges at the W Atlanta Midtown and W Atlanta Buckhead) are featuring a specialty “green” cocktail, the “VeeV-a-la Green” martini beginning Earth Day, April 22, through May 31, 2009.  Gerber Group will donate 50 cents from every VeeV-a-la Green martini sold to Global Green USA - the American Arm of Green Cross International, which was created to foster a global value shift toward a sustainable and secure future by reconnecting humanity with the environment. The VeeV-a-la Green martini is available for $12 and is made with VeeV Açaí Spirit, fresh basil, cucumber, lemon and simple syrup.
 
In addition Gerber Group’s donations to Global Green USA with every purchase of a VeeV-a-la Green martini, VeeV itself supports eco-conscious and sustainability initiatives by contributing $1 from every bottle sold back to the Brazilian Rainforest where the açaí berry is harvested.
