By now i’m sure you’ve heard about/seen the video for the newest Palm phone Pre. If not you can see the panty wetting (if you’re a geek gurl like me) video tease at Palm.com. I have been waiting for Palm to come up with this darling since I upgraded from Treo 655 to Treo 755P because I have not been happy with the 755P and have in fact turned it in for a replacement about 5 times in a year. Not wanting to give up on the company that has been making my life and my job as a RN smoother thru lovely multitasking PDA’s for 10 years now, I waited patiently for them to come up with the greatest phone on earth and hoped that it would actually have enough internal memory to run all the great applications without crashing 5 or 6 times a day like my current piece does. I actually thought about telling them to just downgrade me to the Centro because both of my kids have them and they take way better pics than my unit which costs 3x more than theirs and is able to run all the apps without crashing but the Centro is made, obviously, cheaper and is a bit flimsy for my needs. So my wait, and clever pre-Pre unveiling stock purchase, seems to have paid off. I’m hoping for the Pre to come out by June like they said. I’m thrilled that my provider, Sprint, will be the first company to offer it also.
