Franklin TN Market Report for July 2008

Though sales numbers are down, there are still plenty of homes being sold. 

• 143 single family homes were sold in Franklin, compared to 160 in 2007
• 21 Condos were sold in Franklin
• 5 properties were sold that were land or lots
• The average price of single family homes sold in Franklin was $419.000
• The average size of the home was 2956 square ft
• The average price of land sold in Franklin was $487,000 (15 acres)
• The average price of sold condo’s was $228,535

In summary, sales of single Family homes in Franklin for the month of July was down from 156 to 143, or a 9 percent decrease.  The average sales price of Franklin real estate decreased from $475,718 to $419,058 or 14 percent. The average size of homes sold in June also decreased 2 percent.
