Handling Change

One of my favourite little books is Fast Company's, 'The Rules of Business'.

I'm currently working on a stint as Change Manager for an SAP implementation at a large government agency in Queensland, Australia.

These points in the book on CHANGE highlight some of the keys to handle change effectively:

  1. Build the team.
  2. Get the vision right.
  3. Communicate for buy-in.
  4. Empower action.
  5. Create short-term wins.
  6. Don't give up in the face of setbacks.
  7. Make the changes stick.
