Obviously, the iPhone 3G S features as faster speed, larger pixel camera, voice control, video recording, longer battery life, support to cut, copy and paste word and photos compared to iPhone 3G. In contrary, iPhone 3g is not good for nothing, the low price (only $99 for new AT&T subscribers) is the biggest advantage.

Then compared to Palm Pre, large capacity (16gb & 32gb is available for iPhone 3G S, only 8GB for Pre), camera auto focus, voice control, powerful and widely support App Store maybe the main advantage for Apple iPhone 3G S. However, the Palm Pre also has their own advantage, such as the Pre's camera has an LED flash, touchstone technology, layered calendars etc.

Besides, both iPhone and Palm Pre expert as great media players, and iPhone 3G S allows you watch YouTube video on-the-go, just a pity both of them support a limit music/movies format (see above chart), and some popular video format such as WMV, AVI, FLV can't play on them, if it attach with a third part software called video converter which can convert between any video format, it will act as perfect media player..

But the final battle between the iPhone 3G S and the Palm Pre will be carried out on June 19, when Apple's new device is to hit the stores. Besides the obvious storage capacity and price difference, each buyer will have to carefully consider which one fits you best.

iPhone 3G (low price, only $99), iPhone 3G S (so cool but much expensive), Palm Pre (also great but not cheap), then which one will you choose?
