Barnhart Inc Completes Cesar Chavez Elementary School

In February of 08 Barnhart, Inc. announced the completion of the Cesar Chavez Elementary School.  The $22.7 million projects consists of 68,447 square feet in seven buildings, including a multi-purpose room, kindergarten area and four classroom buildings.  The new school was designed by Coup Smith Diaz Architects to accommodate 1.025 students.

The project was funded with a combination of local Measure J and state funding.  Barnhart, Inc. is the 6th largest educational builder in the nation, as rannked by Engineering News Record.  Projects in the desert region include the McCabe School District as well as the recently completed Frank Wright Middle School of Imperial.
