FaceBook, ehh?

Interesting thing I have noticed about Facebook...the majority of people who have found me on Facebook are Canadian...and still in Canada.  I am a transplanted (for over 15 years) Canadian citizen living in California.  Initially I was chasing a career (and a hot date)...now I am connected (I fear irretrievably) by family, friends and still a career.

Having said that, I am always happy to visit Canada and hear from Canadian friends.  But when I initially signed up for Facebook it was more for my career to check it out.  Little did I know that Canadian friends would come out of the woodwork from my junior high baseball team, first real job and my obsessive posting on an infertility board in the early 2000's.  All Canadians...or at least non-Americans.

Even my mom's friends are on FaceBook.  My MIL (American) wouldn't know facebook if it hit her in the face.

Given the fact that Facebook was started by an American at Harvard University (my alma mater) one would expect that I would get lots of American Harvardians (not a term I would ever use to describe myself but written all the same). But no...it's my neighbor when I was in Grade 4 (American translation-Fourth Grade) one crescent (cul de sac) over...
