Deck - what the heck is deck?

Much reported are the relentless new buildings in the UAE - but will they be ready for the 2009 Abhu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Until now the closest to F1 racing thrills in Abu Dhabi was a camel chase at sunrise - but now the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix promises to shake of the tradtional image of the UAE as long as the development on Yas Island is ready for the Grand Prix in October this year.

It's a little unerving that so close to the 2009 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix the yas hotel web site does not allow online booking!
