· The prerequisite to increasing your muscle mass is to opt for progressive resistance training. This works as a base on which your prospective muscle mass is built. Unless you do not give a reason, your body will not change. So tackle the cause and watch the result.

· Bodybuilding nutrition is the key to building muscle. The principle is to simplify your diet as far as possible. A healthy balance of carbohydrate, protein and fat in order to promote the muscle growth. Don’t fall into the myth of eating a high carbohydrate to build muscle, record what you eat. Always drink a lot of water daily and eat sufficient calories to help muscle growth. Don’t skip fat totally from your diet but eat minimum of 40gms of fats daily. Try to eat every 2-3 hours.

· Allow your muscles sufficient time to rest and recover. Try to work out one body part once per week. But remember, overstressing can harm your muscle and loosen it.
