Stop Self-Sabbotage NOW!

| posted by Joyce K Reynolds

Psychological studies have shown the 86% of the average person's self-talk is negative which means we shouldn't be surprised to hear that self-sabotage is a BIG problem.  But, the majority of people are unaware that they are creating their own difficulties, instigating their own failures or disappointments, stopping themselves from getting the things they most want. That includes intelligent, interesting and attractive people who aren't reaching their goals because of bad internal messages, limiting beliefs or general unawareness of how much they have to do with their own situations.

The fact is that the most powerful negatives in our lives are the unconscious, deliberate subversive things we do to abort our success. They are not obvious or big but often the routine things we say to ourselves or the bad patterns we either don't spot or just ignore which continue to lead us not just away from success but often directly to defeat.

There doesn't seem to be any logic or reason behind these behaviors.  In fact, most of us would argue that we are not self-defeating. At the same time, we repeat behaviors over and over again even when we know they don't work.  We put distractions in front of pressing matters, operate from a negative perspective or simply don't take care of ourselves.

In many cases, there is no lack of desire that holds us back, no shortage of talent or skills.  There's no rational explanation for why - in the face of possible success or enjoyment - we throw that proverbial monkey-wrench into the works leading directly to failure or disappointment.

In response to this widespread problem and with the help of Dr. Janie Kondell, PsyD, I've created a revealing new program - Four BIG Steps to Stop Self-Sabotage - to help curb this all-too natural tendency. This in-depth, four-part program that focuses on this little discussed barrier to professional and person success and opens with a FREE Assessment that reveals that extent of the problem.

Getting into a mode of awareness and accountability is a huge first step. So, after taking Assessment #1 at www.stopeselfsabotageNOW.com, it's easier for people to see to what extent they might be contributing to their own frustrations.  They then have options and motivation to put some remedies in place.
