Aman

While this is a cool concept and very innovative way of getting across ideas, I was unable to verify the numbers or stats used to make the flags.

The Somali flag, for example, on genital mutilation seems very far off. The flag says that the vast majority of the world's 3 billion women undergo some form of genital mutilation - that seems far fetched to me.

If you check this UNICEF report they say that it is estimated "130 Million women have undergone female genital mutilation or cutting..."

This is shame that the flags are inaccurate because the idea is cool.

Aman, I think you're right. The flags are more raw visual impact versus perfectly accurate pie chart. And to be honest, I'm not sure if the #'s are spot on or not. I do love the way the flag image draws you into the concept. It relies heavily on a low dose of shock value to grab attention - and it does it well.
