Overall, I think mobile devices allow us to be more efficient, and more productive. But work has crept into every nook and cranny of our lives. If we are unable of shutting work off when we go home, I'm glad technical problems do it for us on occasion.

These days, when 9-to-5 doesn't apply, I welcome a forced time-out from work, especially if it's being shared by so many others. Go outside and goof-off like a 12 year old!

Why does work have to be separate from your home life? Doesn't mobility allow users to be more flexible? Perhaps this makes sense, Zen on Happiness:

The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in everything he does, leaving others to determine whether he is at work or play. To him, he is always doing both.

Just some food for thought....

If you have a Blackberry or any other phone for that matter. Do yourself a favor and go buy and iPhone. You are using inferior technology. You should consider using a Mac as well. Sometimes the smartest people miss out on the best products because of the environment they have to do business in. It is really sad.
