National Magazine Award

At the end of April 1999, Fast Company won the National Magazine Award in general excellence from the American Society of Magazine Editors. The award ranks us among Vanity Fair, Condé Nast Traveler, The American Scholar, and Martha Stewart. Strange bedfellows! But we're thrilled silly and already looking ahead to see how we can make the magazine an even more useful tool in the year to come. Thanks for reading FC -- and thanks for all your help.
