FIRST LOOK Film Series/Tribeca Film Center
The Tribeca Film Center is located at 375 Greenwich Street, New York
The FIRST LOOK Film Series is a bicoastal monthly screening program founded by the Tribeca Film Center and Eastman Kodak and supported by Fast Company, Media on Demand, Hypnotic, and others. The series provides a prestigious platform for emerging filmmakers and gives decision-making members of the independent film community a " first look" at promising films before they have been screened at festivals or otherwise released to the public.
Fast Company is involved with the series because the independent-film industry often operates in unique teams that echo many of the team and management concepts covered in the magazine.

Charitech
Charitech, a project of Applied Materials Inc., connects the community with new-economy leaders, creating the next generation of civic entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations -- a generation committed to serving social needs in new ways.
The project targets high-tech centers across the nation to connect new-economy wealth -- not just money, but ideas, talents, passions, skills, and Web-based ways of operating -- with local nonprofits, helping make emerging high-tech communities better places to live and work.
As the media sponsor, Fast Company assisted in recruiting expert models and mentors, drawn from the pages of the magazine, as panelists and contributors to Charitech events in Richmond, Virginia; Austin, Texas; and Portland, Oregon.
