Fast Company Career and Internship Opportunities

What is Fast Company?

Launched in November 1995 by Alan Webber and Bill Taylor, two former Harvard Business Review editors, Fast Company magazine was founded on a single premise: A global revolution was changing business, and business was changing the world. Discarding the old rules of business, Fast Company set out to chronicle how changing companies create and compete, to highlight new business practices, and to showcase the teams and individuals who are inventing the future and reinventing business.

Now dozens of issues -- and awards -- later Fast Company has evolved. Under editor Robert Safian and online editor Noah Robischon, the Fast Company brand has become more than a magazine -- it's a movement. It's a series of engaging live events. It's an acclaimed website. It's a community.

Interested in an internship?

Fast Company is now accepting applications for our ongoing editorial internship program. Positions are paid or for-credit, full-time, and based in our New York office. Fast Company is an award-winning national magazine and daily website centered on innovation in business, with a strong focus on technology, sustainability, and design. Our interns work directly with senior editors, attend editorial meetings, and report stories. Almost without exception, each intern earns several short bylines in the magazine and online. Research and fact-checking assignments are an integral part of this internship -- a strong work ethic and careful attention to detail are a must. To apply, send a cover letter, resume, and your best two writing samples to Kate Rockwood at krockwood@fastcompany.com.
