I'm in a similar situation and have found that allowing time while being concious of what influences are displaying themselves has been very helpful. I'm looking to move into organizational development from outdoor adventure education and have realized that the leap isn't as great as it looks. As a matter of fact, the enjoyment I used to have in teaching outdoor sports is returning in ways that I never imagined possible.

There does not have to be just one career path. You can explore many and then see what is the best fit.

As part of this journey you need to identify you natural skills and abilities, your own personality and the environments you like working in, what motivates you and determining goals for your own future.

This takes time and serious soul searching and I would recommend you have someone you could bounce these ideas of family, coach, friend, mentor. I would also recommend The Pathfinder by Nicholas Lore.

    All the best

I think prayer and listening for the extension
of what you have been trained/developed to do.
