Rabbit's Footers

In the July issue, Dan Pink interviewed Richard Wiseman, head of a psychology research department at the University of Hertfordshire in England, and author of The Luck Factor.

Last night in London, Wiseman met with members of the Company of Friends. Member Jonathan Priest has developed a written report on the discussion, expanding on Wiseman's four principles:

  • Maximize chance opportunities
  • Listen to lucky hunches
  • Expect good fortune
  • Turn bad luck to good

This is a great recipe for a "lucky" life. Too many people expect the worst from people and events. All things have a "bright side."
Also, it is interesting to read that 1000's of Irish focus their aspirations on the Lottery. I now understand why they sometimes say "good luck" instead of good bye!
