Alexis Ohanian and Seth Priebatsch are experts at disrupting the norm. In this video, they turn their sights on the TV in your living room.

In this episode of Fast Company's Creative Conversation, Alexis Ohanian, cofounder of Reddit, and Seth Priebatsch, creator of SCVNGR and LevelUp, sat down to talk about the evolution of entertainment as it relates to the living room experience.

They wonder if Apple should get into the game with Netflix and start producing original content, and they argue that content creation should be dictated by the demand of the marketplace and not, as Ohanian puts it, "just some dude in a suit."

If I could simply purchase a "channel" instead of bundling stuff together, I'd hop all over it. Oh, and I'd need it on mobile devices as well, cause not everyone has televisions or cable hookups.

Yes, there is a need for more quality content, but right now I would be happy if I could, for instance, buy AMC and the other channels I watch and not have to pay for all the sports related channels via Comcast. I'm sure there are sport fans that would like to so the same, but in reverse.
