AOL Buying Gadget Site

AOL is again boosting its tech publishing portfolio.

As recently rumored, AOL has revealed it is indeed purchasing gadget logging/review site for an undisclosed fee. Cofounders Ryan Block and Peter Rojas will move into AOL's tech publishing wing, with Block becoming head of product (according to data received by TechCrunch—another AOL property) and Rojas maintaining and becoming editor-at-large at popular tech blog Engadget.

Block used to edit Engadget, and Rojas founded the site—they've reportedly earned a "high" seven figure payout for their new site, which lets consumers log their gadget hoard and acts as de facto review portal.
