Hacked Colorado TV Station Broadcasts Zombie Warning

"Bodies of the dead are rising from their graves and attacking the living."

Oh, hackers. Is there anywhere you aren't these days? Stabbing away at the NYT, the WSJ—anything with an acronym, basically—and now they've taken over KRTV, a Colorado TV station. The merry bunch of pranksters decided that it would be mighty funny to hack into the Emergency Alert System of KRTV, the Great Falls affiliate of the Montana Television Network, and broadcast a warning of a zombie takeover. Surreal—rather like one might imagine a zombie smackdown to be IRL.

"Bodies of the dead are rising from their graves and attacking the living," intoned a very serious baritone over images of a pancake-making device infomercial, conjuring thoughts of Night Of The Living Dead. The Great Falls Tribune reported that Colorado police received four phone calls from worried residents. See it for yourself in the video below.

Really funny, but I'm guessing the FCC is not going to find it that way. They'll look on this as a serious infraction of the federal communication system guidelines.

Umm, how is this a Colorado TV station? You guys know that Colorado and Montana are different, right?

Funny, How something so unrealistic can be made real. ^.^ I would prepare just in case! Lol.
