The Occupant position Detection System (OPDS) turns off the front passenger side airbag when a child or small-adult leans into the airbag deployment path. 

• Comfort and Convenience – The Sonata has gotten a little smaller inside for 2011 giving the Accord more advantages in spacious comfort. The Accord has more hip and shoulder room along with significantly more rear legroom for greater all-round comfort.

• Cost – Although the Sonata price is lower, both Automotive Lease Guide (ALG) and Kelley Blue Book have named Accord the Best Resale Value for the Mid-Size Car segment.
