I am involved with the Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, a
Roman Catholic school for girls located on a 55-acre campus in
Princeton, New Jersey. Founded in 1963, the Stuart Country Day School
now educates over 500 students with a large faculty of about 100.
Providing an incomparably inspiring environment, the school maintains a
100 percent matriculation rate with impressive average SAT, ACT, and AP
scores. About 40 percent of the students in each graduating class are
members of the school’s Honor Society.

Stuart Country Day School is a member of the National and International
Network of Sacred Heart Schools and has received accreditation from the
Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Although a school in
the Roman Catholic tradition, Stuart Country Day School accepts young
women of all religions and socio-economic backgrounds, and its students
come from as far as 50 miles away from the school.

Originated by a group of women from Princeton University, Stuart Country
Day School was created to provide an outstanding education for women
and was established in association with the Society of the Sacred Heart.
The Sacred Heart network of schools endeavor to educate the “whole
child,” creating an atmosphere encouraging academic excellence, while
also motivating students toward service and instilling a strong sense of
community. Schools of the Sacred Heart emphasizes a commitment to
intellectual values, social awareness, community building, and personal
growth. The all-girl environment at Stuart Country Day School allows
faculty members to emphasize the strengths of women and reduces the
distraction and stress than can be induced by a co-educational
environment. I am proud to be involved with such an important school
that is helping to build generation after generation of strong American
women.
