2010 Honda Civic Tour Coming to Miami: Are you in?

Since 2001 Honda Motor Company has been sponsoring an annual concert tour
featuring some of the top bands in the country. Each year, the
headlining band of the tour customizes their own Honda Civic for
participants to win in a raffle. Some of the most well recognized bands
have headlined for the tour such as Blink 182, Incubus, Black Eyed Peas,
and Fall Out Boy to name a few. This year the tour will feature
headliner band Paramore
as well as three supporting bands - Tegan and Sara, New Found Glory,
Kadawatha. Paramore was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2008 for "Best
New Artist" and their live CD/DVD The Final Riot! went gold.

The tour features a sweepstake for participants to win a custom,
197-hp 2010 Civic Si Coupe, designed by Paramour.  Customization details
on the vehicle include a custom paint job, custom exterior
and interior features.

Custom Paint

The exterior of the car features a “flowing hair” theme. House of
Kolor paint was used to transform the factory metal body into shifting
shades of burgundy, orange, gold and yellow. Custom graphics include the
airbrushed Paramore logo, surrounded by butterfly wings, that graces
the hood. The Honda Civic Tour logo, meanwhile, can be found on the rear
bumper amid custom bumper stickers, creating a visual effect
reminiscent of Paramore singer Hayley Williams’ own car.

Custom Exterior

The exterior also boasts a Honda Factory Performance sport muffler
and upgraded aero parts: a lower front spoiler, larger side skirts and a
lower rear spoiler. Red LED taillights come courtesy of Anzo USA.

Custom Interior

Paramore’s frontwoman added additional color by wrapping the steering
wheel, shifter and e-brake handles the same way she wraps her
microphone stand onstage. Opening the car’s trunk reveals a complete
MOTHERS(R) detailing kit to keep the interior rockin’ – and the “hair”
looking shiny and smooth.

More features were added to the new Honda Civic Si according the
groups taste. The tour will be performing in Miami on September 4, 2010
