All
the universities across the country and the major media went on an aggressive
campaign in order to educate everyone that it’s possible to receive funds for
college. In many of the cases you don’t have to repay the money given to you
and it’s quite easy to qualify for this. Most college grants money depending
mostly on your situation.

Over the years there were a lot of examples of people who went to college for
more that 20 years in order to receive those checks, and they’ll receive these
checks as long as they go to college on a regular basis, even if they go
part-time.

This is a problem for most of the states that offers these type of funding
because many people prefer to just go to school for 30 years than  to work in this period. Not to mention that
this is a pretty good way to live.

The education system works on a simple basis: it’s meant to create skilled
persons that can find a job. For this purpose the education system spends a lot
of money from the taxes that people pay every year. The trained persons will
have a job after finishing school and through his job he will contribute to the
economy in two ways:  doing something in
the field he was trained in and paying his taxes. Those who study their entire
life don’t pay back for their training and this is a big problem for everyone
else.

Because of this, some states created some limitations for those to receive this
money.  They set up a maxim period of
time in which you get paid for going to school.

Most of the requirements are now primarily designed for those in a desperate
situation. Students that come from families with low income will be accepted in
this program. Even people that work can apply for this money if they want a college
degree.

Because the economy is now in a recession people’s mind has changed.  Now everyone wants to improve their situation
and get assured they won’t lose their jobs. Another change refers to jobs with
health insurance included.  Even if you
change you job and go for one with health insurance keep in mind that this
won’t help those without insurance.

Your motivations are not important as long as you want to return to school. You
should apply to all the colleges that offer money. Billions of dollars are used
for the single purpose of training you in your dream job.
