Miami, FL, March 10 – A recent study shows that people who suffer from diabetes are twice as likely to suffer from loss of hearing.
Dr. Joseph K. Duran, audiologist and president of New Generation
Hearing, recommends that all men and women with diabetes should be
tested for hearing damage.

The National Institute of Health
found in a recent study that 5 million Americans who are diagnosed with
diabetes are also hard of hearing and do not receive the proper
treatment. Many doctors agree that untreated hearing loss is serious
and can lead to bigger problems in the future. People who do not treat
hearing loss may suffer from dizziness, fatigue, depression, and
diminishing health.
