TikiLIVE is an enterprise social networking solution centered on live
and recorded streaming video. To assist you in utilizing the Live
Broadcasting capabilities to the fullest, I have decided to put
together this quick tutorial on the steps required to create, brand and
broadcast to your showpage.

1. Registration

To
control the content that is published to TikiLIVE one must first
register with a unique email address. This is done in three simple
steps:

a. Go to http://www.tikilive.com/register
b. Enter in all mandatory fields
-TikiLIVE will confirm that both the username and email address are unique
c. After submitting the application, you should receive a notice in the
form of an email, kindly requesting that you confirm the email address
d. Once the email address is confirmed you will be forwarded to
TikiLIVE and asked to enter your username and password as originally
submitted.

Now you are ready to join the TikiLIVE Community!

2. Create a Show

TikiLIVE enables users to have multiple channels, or showpages, to focus their content around a particular brand or theme.

To create a showpage please do the following:

a. Open the “My Shows” tab or you can go straight there by clicking on My Shows:
b. Enter in a unique showname and click “Create”
c. Upload a show logo, enter a description and select a category to
inform users what to expect from your Live Broadcasts and uploaded VOD’s

Now you are ready to go LIVE!

3. Broadcaster Selection

TikiLIVE
provides the broadcaster with two options for going LIVE, standard
browser-based and our High Quality Desktop Broadcaster. To find out if
your computer can support the High Quality Broadcaster please check the
following Documentation on Hardware Specifications:

If you choose the HQ Desktop Broadcaster, be sure to download all the plugins that are listed when clicking “Broadcast Now”

4. Go Live

Once you have opened your desired broadcaster simply:

a. Select the video source
b. Set the Bitrate
c. Apply De interlace to increase video quality (adaptive is typically the best)
d. Select Audio Source
e. Click “Start Broadcast”
f. If desired, start recording to save an archive of the live feed

Now you are Live and ready to interact with your audience!
