One of Toyota’s most popular vehicles, the Toyota Camry, was at the forefront of the manufacturers controversial recall early this year.  As a result, sales of the Honda Accord have surged since February. The Honda
Accord is a direct competitor of the Camry since both vehicles are
midsized and economical. Honda’s February sales rose 12.7% to 80,671,
fueled by a 41% surge in sales of its Accord. Miami Honda dealer have been feeling this increase in sales with many car buyers choosing the Accord over any other new car.

Sales of other Honda vehicles went up as well – Odyssey minivan by
11.4% and the Civic compact car by 5%. John Mendel, executive vice
president of sales for American Honda, said in a release that
February’s results mark a promising turn for the automaker. “A year
ago, the economy and our industry were at a low point marked with great
uncertainty,” Mendel said. “While we remain cautious, we’re happy to
see customers actively seeking Honda products like the all-new Accord
Crosstour.” The Accord Crosstour has been a contributor to the
manufacturers recent increase in sales, with many car buyers opting to
go for a new look.
