Ten Things Facebook has Taught Us

If you take a step back from the flurry of
notifications, photo albums, and friend requests, Facebook teaches some
valuable lessons.

1. FB has taught us that communication matters.

2. FB has taught us to be careful about how we represent ourselves and respond to others.

3. FB has taught us that we all have a unique voice.

4. FB has taught us that it truly is a small world. Walt Disney was way ahead of the curve on this one!

5. FB has taught us that the personal, the professional, and the political are inseparable.

6. FB has taught us to take a break every now and then–FarmVille anyone?

7. FB has taught us that no matter how obscure your interests, you are not alone.

8. FB has taught us to see ourselves as a part of a larger whole.

9. FB has taught us to appreciate how our past has shaped our present.

And finally,

10. FB has taught us that one can never have too many friends.
