"I really concentrate on flow versus feature," says Henrik Werdelin. Inspired by how people move in the real world, he designs the online TV service Joost so that no matter how you get to the site, you find shows you didn't know you wanted to watch. He has led the transformation of Joost into a "learning" site that tracks how you watch and what you share with friends, and customizes itself by, say, automatically moving up your fave features. The numbers say the strategy is working: In the past five months, traffic has quadrupled and the Web-TV underdog's iPhone app has been downloaded 1.5 million times. -- by Ellen McGirt

"...so many turned upon him that they knocked his helmet off his head twice"
Hey whinin' whingers! Cut the Henge some slack! He's an upbeat, positive guy. Check his cool blog (blog.hellohenrik.com) for instance. Fourteen (14!) uses of "cool" on the front page alone. Think now. Has true coolness crossed your path that many times in your entire life? Ever stopped to ask "why not?"? That's the difference between you and he. Between chalk and cheese. Between mediocrity and the coolocracy...
Look, the man's a cool magnet. A cool magnet magnet, even. A chunky fridge-freezer unit, if you will. A mighty tower of industrial-grade solid cool that'll still be there, humming happily and dribbling only slightly, long after you've all bounced off to the next ill-funded adventure. Great to see at least he's sticking with it 'til the last, which is more than be said for the rest of you cowards and turncoats!
As the man himself says,
"Think of this, like having a room packed with your best friends and a wide screen plasma TV with access to 46.000 cool music videos, great movies and entertaining films. Now just add popcorn and let the social tv experience begin."
Are you ready to Joostin' ROCK? THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!! Feel the Joost flow and give it up for Henrik...
what a fraud... it makes it question how the selection process was performed
What a deserving post! Henrik is absolutely awesome. I'm confident that when the dust settles, his thoughts on flow and user interaction will prevail. The guy has has done TONS for Joost, and it's only the beginning! Congrats Henrik!

A true example of Peter Principle.
